Josef

Josef was born in 1899 in Laupersdorf. Josef's father was Beda Kaufmann and his mother was Susanne Meister. His paternal grandparents were Urs Viktor Kaufmann and Annemarie Saner. He had three brothers and a sister, named Emil, Oskar, Alphons and Rosa. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 3 in 1902.
